1. Follow-up on formation of
CNP
Same as before
2. Expansion of CNP
Executive Committee
Addition to the CNP committee:
Rajesh Sangraula, Vice President.
We are also looking to bring in a
second V.P., Joint Gen Secretary,
and Joint Treasurer.
3. Formation of
Sub-committees
To be created after Sur
Sudha Concert.
4. CNP membership drive
We have plans for
aggressive campaign after Sur Sudha
Concert.
5. Updates on
registration of CNP with IL State
Sharda Thapa and Rajeev Dahal will
complete the required
documents/form, and Sanjay Shrestha
will register with IL Secretary of
State. Expected completion date:
7/23/04 or before. Next step will
be to open CNP bank account –
possibly by 7/23/04.
6. CNP website
maintenance
Subodh Upreti has offered to
volunteer, however, we will require
additional help. CNP will offer
Intership opportunities to newly
graduate students (IT/Comp Science
majors) to help manage the
organization’s website operations.
Details will be available in the
website soon.
7. Sur Sudha Concert
Ticket sales:
We are targeting to sell between 500
– 600 tickets. We are asking all
CNP members to attend the concert,
as well as sell tickets to your
Non-Nepali co-workers, neighbors,
and friends.
Volunteers:
We need about 16 volunteers on the
day of concert. Interested members,
please contact Rabin Pradhan, Sharda
Thapa, or Sanjay Shrestha.
Logistics details to be announced
the following week.
Sound system:
David Seaman will confirm and
finalize the sound system rental by
the week of 7/12/04.
Parking:
Sanjay Shrestha will finalize the
location and rate by the week of
7/12/04. Alternate parking info
will also be available on the
website.
Food & Beverage:
Rajeev Dahal has spoken to Mt.
Everest Restaurant on food vending.
Rahi Gurung (who had initiated the
hall rental) will inquire on
Northwestern University’s policies
of in-facility vending of food &
beverage/liquor. Mt. Everest will
be advised accordingly.
